We are looking for a highly technical VP of Firmware Engineering who can drive technical projects and provide leadership for a group of 80+ engineers in an innovative and fast paced environment. This individual will be responsible for guiding and enforcing firmware/software engineering processes such as design reviews, technical discussions, code reviews, documentation and testing.

The individual will become an essential part of the engineering management team responsible for managing teams in remote/worldwide locations, and locally in CA. The individual will be well versed with the planning, execution and successful delivery of technical projects and will be responsible for leading cross functional projects and project teams.

• Lead multi site functional firmware development groups in the development of several common IP’s required for flash based products including flash management system, low level drivers and system.
• Lead flash device integration team performing product level DVT, product configuration, low level and high level system design.
• Lead verification team in designing and deploying and executing requirements based verification tools and infrastructure to ensure integrated firmware and system configuration meets all product requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction for SanDisk system modeling platform development team.
• Provide integration support to multiple product lines of entire verified IP.
• Ensure project management disciplines are followed throughout organization, give and meet commitments for whole functional group.
• Provide architectural leadership to Firmware, System and ASIC development teams.
• Act as focal point and interface to numerous product lines, Business Units, and functional teams for flash management and firmware issues.
• Grow the SanDisk Intellectual Property Portfolio with firmware/system related patents and trade secrets.

Mesiti-Miller Engineering, Inc. is looking for a structural engineer with a strong design background. The primary task for this position will be design engineering including the preparation of calculations, drawings, technical specifications, reports and proposals. Minimum qualifications for this position include a BS degree in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering, six years experience and a professional engineering license, preferably in California. Experience in design of wood, concrete, masonry and steel structures using RISA, TEDDS, ENERCALC and similar software as well as a fundamental knowledge of civil design is required. AutoCAD skills would be helpful.

Job Title: VMS Technical Specialist and Installation
Position Location: Northeastern US or Midwest area

Summary
This position is to provide customer and dealership support in the North East United States (area), in regard to any technical application and installation of the VMS and related equipment. The VMS (Voluntary Milking System, i.e. milking robot) Technician will be responsible for all technical, maintenance, training and service programs with VMS in the services area.

The VMS technician will also be responsible for coordinating between the various entities within DeLaval, R & D, Manufacturing and Sales & Marketing. The VMS technician should reside in the Pennsylvania, USA area so relocation may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall product technical performance of all systems installed in area
• Act as project leader for DeLaval on all VMS installation in area
• Responsible for the selection and recommendation of potential or future service technicians for VMS training
• Provide continuous training and documentation on all dealership personnel that are authorized as VMS service technicians in area
• Responsible for the proper training of all service technicians ¡V including coordination of technical training sessions held outside United States
• Ensure that service/maintenance programs are implemented and performed according to guidelines
• Provide technical assistance over the phone or in the field as needed
• Implement any system upgrades
• Maintain proper customer file on system versions running in the field
• Support field technicians with latest up-to-date technical information
• Provide field support during installation, start up and follow up of new systems
• Maintain proper and up to date technical documentation
• Maintain log of service maintenance programs for every installations
• Directly responsible for the availability/stock of all VMS spare parts (regional kits and service kits)
