seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
(Switchgear Generators) to join our engineering team. In this role, you
will assist in the design, development, and implementation of PLC and
HMI programming for low and medium voltage switchgear systems for our
Generators. The Electrical Engineer-Switchgear Generators will work
closely with senior engineers, project managers, and production teams to
ensure systems are delivered on time and meet functional requirements.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring
sponsorship now or in the future. Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
Work Location: 200 Twin Oaks Road, Kohler WI Relocation assistance to
Kohler WI is available! Responsibilities: \* Develop and modify PLC
logic and HMI screens for switchgear control and monitoring
applications. \* Assist in designing control systems for switchgear,
including interfacing with protective relays, sensors, and communication
networks. \* Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring
diagrams, and system drawings. \* Collaborate with cross-functional
teams including mechanical, electrical, and testing departments. \*
Perform system testing and troubleshooting both in-house and at customer
sites (as needed). \* Prepare documentation such as control logic
descriptions, user manuals, and test procedures. \* Support the
implementation of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC
61850). \* Participate in system startups and commissioning activities
under supervision. Qualifications: \* Bachelor\'s degree in electrical
engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field. \*
Knowledge or academic experience with PLC platforms such as
Allen-Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000), Siemens, or Schneider Electric. \*
Familiarity with HMI development tools (e.g., FactoryTalk View, WinCC,
Wonderware). \* Understanding of control logic, ladder diagrams, and
industrial automation concepts. \* Basic knowledge of switchgear
systems, protective relays, or power distribution is a plus. \* Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. \* Excellent communication and
