Senior Engineering Technician

In this role, youll help keep projects moving by supporting both Community Development and Public Works with important technical and administrative tasks. From designing maps and drawings in AutoCAD and GIS to assisting with surveys, right-of-way research, and reviewing subdivision plats, youll be involved in meaningful work that directly impacts how our city grows and operates.

Youll work alongside a collaborative team and use your skills to support inspections, asset management, and infrastructure projects like storm drainage, streets, and traffic signals. Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. Hiring Range is $73,000.00 - $79,000.00 Annually

Please review the full job description here! Associates degree in civil engineering, engineering technology, or surveying (or a closely related field). Five or more years experience in computer drafting, research, surveying, design, and GIS or asset management experience using ArcGIS. Experience using engineer software such as AutoCad, ArcGIS, ArcCAT, and/or ArcMAP. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
