Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to support the design, development, and testing of advanced naval power systems. These systems range from high-voltage power conversion cabinets to integrated electronic control systems used in critical naval applications. Responsibilities include:
Analyze customer specifications and translate them into internal electrical design requirements
Design and develop power electronics, hardware, and control systems for naval applications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts and mitigate development risks
Evaluate and select components, subsystems, and services from suppliers to meet performance and cost targets
Compile and analyze design and test data to support engineering decisions and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineers
Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and customer briefings
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product development and lifecycle processes
