How and when do I get paid for freelance work?
Once a project is agreed to, employers are required to fund an escrow account with the total compensation amount. iHire will communicate with you that the project is funded and ready to start.
Once a project is completed, employers will verify their satisfaction, and payment is released to you.
To receive your payment, you will need to connect your PayPal account to your iHire account.
After submitting your first freelance proposal, you will be asked to input a payment method to ensure you are paid on time if your proposal is accepted. You can securely connect to your PayPal account in just a few clicks.
You can also navigate the “Payments” tab under “Account,” and enter your information to connect your PayPal account there.
Once you start receiving payments from clients, you’ll see your available balance at the bottom of this page and can withdraw funds as needed.
