Job Description

We are a Warehouse and Material Handling L. Our mission is we partner with clients to provide transformational services and solutions to achieve operational excellence in warehousing and logistics.

We are seeking a new Industrial Engineer to join our team. Your role will be to support USSI and client goals through effective and efficient data collection, analysis, reports, facility design, presentations, and project management.

As a member of the Engineering department, you will work with USSI engineers and selected vendors and report to our President.

What You Will Do:

  • Acts as support liaison for the project engineer with company clients ensuring the project engineering and planning process, ensuring that client satisfaction is maintained, and that information in effectively shared with all project team members.
  • Assist project engineer with facility and operational audits, project meetings, and client presentations when necessary.
  • Organize and transcribe project notes and data to support successful completion of project reports, drawings and other documents.
  • create Auto CAD drawings based on programming and data analysis, which present effective solutions to USSI clients and support both client and company's objectives, including plans, rack layout, sprinkler plans, lighting plans, installation drawings, product engineering drawings, and modular furniture plans.
  • Develop accurate project materials parts lists from Auto CAD plan views and elevations, which adhere to proper structural and design requirements.
  • Prepare, type and organize written engineering and technical reports, including all support documents(KIP reports, square foot by area reports, rack cube analysis, photos, drawings, time lines, etc. required for client presentation package.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that project information is accurate, valid, complete and to ensure the integrity of work being completed.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Mechanical Design
  • Cost Estimating
  • System Design
  • Engineer in Training
  • Technical Strengths with Microsoft Office and Auto CAD

Salary range for this position is $60000 - $70000 per year (plus bonus/commission). We offer the following benefits:
