Job Description Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for functions in support of engineering activities. This will include, but not limited to, installation and relocating of equipment, installing cabling (Coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics), supporting engineering lab equipment, equipment inventory and test equipment calibration support, and any other support activities required to support engineering

Perform daily activities as defined by management to support engineering.

Performing system repairs, software and hardware upgrades

Installation of coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics cabling

Building racks and installing equipment following rack elevation and wiring diagrams

Able to work in priority order as defined by management and/or project leads.

Assist with lab moves as well as cleaning and organization efforts.

Required Competencies:

Understanding of basic electronics and RF signals.

Familiarity with some RF equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Network analyzer

Familiarity with common coaxial and network cabling types, along with appropriate application

Familiarity of Windows 10/11 and/or Linux (Centos/RHEL)

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and published documentation

Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong customer service skills and time management.

Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email and MS teams

A willingness to learn and be flexible with daily job assignment
