Engineering Manager II - Test Integration & Support

As an Engineering Manager II - Test Integration & Support, you'll lead a team charged with integrated planning for test development, including coordinating activities throughout the product lifecycle from proposal to release. You will monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on test matters, as needed. You'll also review, manage, proactively challenge, and control status on a portfolio of test programs, manage schedules and prepare status reports, and guide and lead teams in achieving the goals of the test program including issue identification, resolution and contingency planning. Additionally, you will represent the test engineering department at all management level meetings. You'll ensure that the test support meets the program schedules, are obtained in a timely manner and that test hours expended are productive, meeting program goals and budgets. You will own and continuously improve processes and procedures, oversee training of staff and provide technical direction as required.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline
• Typically, 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, which includes 4+ years of management experience.
• Thorough Understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis and simulation
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience leading a cross-functional team and communicating with program management and customers
• Familiarity with development and execution of program cost and schedule management
• Ability to read, interpret, and technically advise on technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedures
• Experience in FAA and Military aircraft certification efforts
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $165,010.21 - $226,889.04. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
