Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) delivers exceptional performance in safely removing, treating, and disposing of tank waste. H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste.

H2C is looking for full-stack web and C# developers to help us design, develop, test, and deploy mobile and web-based process software. We have a product-line of over 50 custom-built applications, and our tools are used every single day by hundreds of workers across the enterprise who are actively engaged in protecting our rivers from nuclear waste. You will be joining a team of creative software engineers committed to collaborative problem solving and first-class product development in a safety-first environment.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
* Design, build, test, document, and maintain efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
* Work in a team environment with collaborative design and peer reviews.
* Solicit and maintain requirements and adhere to software quality assurance standards.

Required Qualifications
Grade 16:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; with two (2) year related experience
Experience in C#, MS SQL, or JavaScript (or other related web-development languages)
Grade 17:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; with five (5) years related experience
Experience in C#, MS SQL, or JavaScript (or other related web-development languages)
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.
Grade 18:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline; with seven (7) years related experience
Experience in C#, MS SQL, or JavaScript (or other related web-development languages)
Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.
Desired Qualifications
* Full-stack web/mobile design skills
* Familiarity with software design principles and practices (e.g., SOLID, Agile, etc.)
* MS SQL Server, IIS Server, Visual Studio
* Angular, ASP.NET, MicroServices, .NET Core
* Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Azure DevOps
* GIT source control and branch management
* Unit Testing
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $88,200
Hiring Range Maximum: $134,588
