MEP Project Manager

Job Description

Provide support to a single large project or multiple projects being managed by Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers. You will work closely with craftsmen, foremen, and the owner, planning out mechanical projects from start to finish. This role requires a thorough understanding of all the moving parts involved and what it takes to manage the process. You will utilize LEAN principles and have a keen understanding of owner requirements and how to deliver them. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the financials to ensure the project stays on track and will continually develop and nurture customer relationships beyond a single project.

Responsibilities

  • Support single large project or multiple projects managed by Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Collaborate with craftsmen, foremen, and the owner to plan mechanical projects from start to finish.
  • Utilize LEAN principles and understand owner requirements to deliver successful projects.
  • Manage project financials to ensure the project stays on track.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships beyond a single project.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7-10+ years experience in related field
  • Experience working at a MEP firm managing multiple MEP projects
  • Experience with Design/Build and IPD projects is considered a plus
  • Familiarity with Lean Construction tools is considered a plus
  • Experience working on data centers, federal work, industrial, and/or healthcare projects is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
