Description:
You will be the Systems Integration & Test Engineer Lead for the Special Programs team, responsible for generating test procedures, preparing test readiness review packages, and executing qualification testing. Our team is responsible for ensuring the successful integration, testing, and evaluation of complex systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Integration & Test Engineer Lead you will be responsible for leading the integration, testing, and evaluation of systems, including generating test plans and procedures, preparing test readiness review packages, and executing qualification testing. You will also support subcomponent and subassembly integration, the build of subassembly hardware, and the build of test equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating test procedures and plans
- Preparing test readiness review packages

- Writing qualification test reports
- Supporting subcomponent and subassembly integration
- Supporting the build of subassembly hardware and test equipment

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Secret or Top Secret with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following System Integration and Test (I&T) assignments:
- Verify that integrated HW can achieve the overall physical, functional and performance objectives.
- Verify that HW are compliant to associated requirement documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with personnel from different functional areas to coordinate the needed resources for successful completion of testing.
- Secret with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years
Desired Skills:
- Desired experience with the integration and test of space-based subsystems and sensors.
- Experience and knowledge of subsystem hardware and software integration and test.
- Design a system integration, test, verification, and validation process that is performed to well-constructed I&T plans derived from System Requirements.
- Proficient in the use of Cameo for Model Based Engineering.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate comfortably with Quality, Test Engineers, and production personnel.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
- Deliver effective customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
- Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
- Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
- Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in Verification and Validation test events.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
