Job Description We are hiring multiple Powersports Engineering Technicians to join our dynamic R&D environment. This role involves supporting and operating chassis dynamometers, thermal chambers, data acquisition test equipment, and handling the installation and replacement of parts including thermocouples. The position focuses on fuel-systems component testing, exhaust emission testing, vehicle power/performance testing, and general engine operation testing/tuning. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle testing according to outlined test procedures and requirements.
- Assemble complete vehicles using engineering drawings, service manuals, and communicate effectively with engineering staff.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance and safety checks before, during, and after testing.
- Pay close attention to detail during testing and identify any concerns or problems as they arise.
- Communicate and document concerns with project leaders, ensuring a high level of detail and clear understanding of the issues.
- Perform vehicle teardown for part confirmation and sub-component section evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Automotive Technician experience with 4 wheeler, ATV, Powersports, and motorcycles.
- Experience as an ATV Technician.
- Associate degree in Engineering.
- Powersports Testing experience.
- Proficient in engineering troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Powersports Vehicles such as ATV, SxS, and Dirt Bikes.
- Preferred experience in riding and repairing ATVs and SxS.
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
- Skill in identifying concerns and issues.
- Proficiency in working within a team environment.
- Capability to follow instructions and defined test procedures.
- Comfortable asking questions in uncertain situations.
- Flexibility for extended travel, especially during winter months.
