About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive process improvements, efficiency, and quality in production operations. In this role, you'll work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support product builds, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and develop scalable solutions for ongoing production and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for new and existing products.
Analyze and resolve production issues related to design, materials, and processes.
Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
Collaborate with design engineering on Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly efforts.
Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for non-conformances.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, continuous improvement, and cost reduction efforts.
Support MRL, PPAP, FAI, and production readiness activities for new parts or production restarts.
Participate in capital equipment specification, procurement, and validation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Work Experience
Required Qualifications
Due to the nature of this role, you must be a US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or production support role.
Experience with process development, tooling design, and production support.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and root cause tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLM/MRP systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-precision manufacturing environments.
$75K-$85K
