About this opportunity:

MillerKnoll is seeking a Creative Project Manager to join the Marketing & Creative Operations team . This role is responsible for leading and managing the processes and timelines involved in developing creative deliverables across a variety of initiatives, including product launch campaigns, brand channel campaigns, archive projects, and social media. They will be the central point of contact, ensuring all milestones within a project are met, and that all teams are aligned by providing clear and concise planning and communication to achieve successful executions. The ability to work independently while adjusting and adapting management styles and techniques to the uniqueness of each project is essential to success in this role.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison between the creative teams and the MillerKnoll and Geiger Marketing teams.
  • Manage product launch creative execution milestones for Geiger launches from kickoff to go-live.
  • Assist in developing the processes and manage workflow and intake requests for the new MillerKnoll Archives
  • Maintain blueprints for creative deliverables in Wrike, our project management tool, updating and evolving as needs and processes shift.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects align with overall business goals.

MillerKnoll Project Management:

  • Create and refine Wrike project plans for creative deliverables such as messaging, asset development, brochures, social, email, campaigns, sales tools, translations, etc., in partnership with Marketing and various creative team members, ensuring the most efficient execution plans are in place.
  • Develop timelines and manage the workflow of creative deliverables from initial scoping and development to delivery and production of final deliverables.
  • Serve as a brand advocate to ensure brand standards are being met for a consistent brand experience among all marketing and communication channels.
  • Ensure projects are routed for proper approval and all signoffs are recorded. Record and save final creative/deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Partner with media production team on project deliverables and ensure budgets are met, working to problem-solve as necessary.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support marketing and creative teams.

Product Launch Project Management:

  • Manage product launch creative execution milestones for all Geiger launches from kickoff to go live.
  • Ensures product launch projects have required documentation such as detailed market launch plans, IMP and marketing and creative briefs to help translate requirements into solutions.
  • Manage routing of assets for proper approval to cross-functional teams and ensure approvals are recorded in Wrike, our project management tool.
  • Record and save final creative/deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Archives Project Management:

  • Must understand archival principles, practices, and standards.
  • Oversee project requests by internal stakeholders requiring access to archival materials, ensuring efficient execution and timing.
  • Has a high degree of cultural sensitivity and experience working with teams with varying project management needs.
  • Assists with defining and developing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Regularly communicate schedules, statuses, and updates to the archive team members.

Skillsets

  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to lead through influence and relationship-building.
  • Developing capability working with ambiguity, creating definition, and crafting coherent creative project plans.
  • Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple, competing priorities and the ability to remain flexible.
  • Comfort in working with clients from across MillerKnoll brand's various internal and international teams.
  • Strong proficiency in continuous improvement and process management.
  • Proficiency in various creative project management tools and applications (e.g., Teams, Wrike, AirTable, Figma, Bynder, etc.) a plus

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

5 years of Creative Project Management experience.

Digital-first perspective with a solid understanding of eCommerce best practices and drive to test new formats of digital marketing

Solid communication skills - You will have extensive correspondence that relies on you being conversant in brand guidelines and terminology related to the home furnishings industry

Strong leader with an ability to hold others accountable

Proactive, self-starter mindset, has relentless optimism.
