Senior I&C Electrical Engineer - Heavy Industrial (Power Plant/Data Center Focus)

We are actively seeking a seasoned I&C Electrical Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting electrical systems for a large-scale infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design efforts for heavy industrial environments, including power plant and data center projects.
• Develop and oversee substation and distribution architecture, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable electrical systems.
• Act as the onsite electrical SME, providing expert guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to align instrumentation and controls (I&C) integration with overall electrical systems.
• Support construction and commissioning activities with hands-on involvement, troubleshooting, and field engineering oversight.
• Maintain deep knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NESC).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and must have a PE license.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within heavy industrial settings.
• Proven experience with power generation facilities or mission-critical infrastructure (e.g., data centers).
• Demonstrated expertise in medium and high-voltage substation and distribution system design.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in a field-support capacity.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mega project experience ($500M+ CAPEX) strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with I&C programming and integration tools is an advantage.
