Civil Project Engineer Job Description

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering design firm who is offering comprehensive services that include civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying, and security. They are currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join their land development team in Washington, DC and Chantilly, VA ! This role involves working on large-scale, mixed-use projects with exciting design opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work on large-scale, mixed-use land development projects
  • Perform site planning and infrastructure design
  • Engage in land development and stormwater management
  • Utilize Civil 3D and/or Carlson for design tasks
  • Prepare and review survey reports
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, security consultants, and surveyors
  • Ensure project completion within established timelines
Essential Skills
  • 2-5+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or Carlson (Civil 3D preferred)
  • Experience in site planning and infrastructure design
  • Knowledge of land development and stormwater management
  • BS in Civil Engineering
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • EIT certification is a plus
  • Broad range of experience in various project types

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
