As an Electrical Engineer, you will lead design and development projects in the field of electronic equipment and systems. You will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, modifying, evaluating, and testing a variety of equipment including radar and radiation detection systems, radio, television, and other communications equipment. Your role will involve working on complex problems requiring the evaluation of intangible variables and interacting with management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas.
- Conduct experimental tests on electronic equipment and evaluate results.
- Develop specifications for selecting components and equipment.
- Review vendor capabilities to support project requirements.
- Establish operational objectives and assignments with management oversight.
- Develop, modify, and execute company policies affecting operations.
- Work under consultative direction towards long-range targets.
- Manage staff development and supervision as needed.
- PCB Deign
- Mixed signal, analog, and digital circuit design.
- Cable design and schematic capture.
- Test development and integration.
- Proficiency in tools such as OrCAD, Altium, PADS, Xilinx.
- Skills in analog, digital, FPGA, LabVIEW, Verilog, VHDL.
- Experience with maritime, navy, and defense sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
