Project Engineer (Racking & Automation)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new Project Engineer to help build and develop their racking & automation division across the UK whilst assisting with projects in Europe. With a great overall package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced racking or warehouse automation specialist to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities Providing designs and technical solutions for projects in Warehouse Automation and Racking Working closely with the sales team in providing solutions to meet the customer's specifications Creating detailed warehouse layout designs using AutoCAD software and adapting these designs throughout the duration of the project Acting as the technical point of contact for customers Attending sites nationally and internationally as and when requiredRequirements Our client is ideally looking for an individual with a strong engineering background working within Warehouse Racking & Automation. It is vital for the role that you have strong commercial experience and are proficient in working on CAD software. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere in the UK provided you understand that both and international travel will be a requirement. You must hold a full UK driver's license.
