Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leader in Life Sciences, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Research and Development group supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer **Location:** Bedford, MA (100% On-Site) **Duration:** 12 Months Contract with possibility of extension **What's the Job?** + Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current products in development and their manufacturing processes. + Collaborate as part of a cross-functional product development team to achieve project scope, time, and cost targets. + Transfer robust products and processes from R D to manufacturing and commercial launch. + Effectively communicate with R D, Manufacturing, Quality, Health Safety & Environment, Supply Chain, and Product Management. + Demonstrate sound decision-making based on tangible facts while managing multiple tasks effectively. **What's Needed?** + BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in a related technical area. + Proficient in CAD, 3D printing, SolidWorks. + Proficient engineering skills in problem solving, experimentation, and data analysis. + Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. + Knowledge in Product Development is highly desirable. + Experience with mechanical design and thermoplastics is a plus. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. + Collaborative and dynamic work environment. + Professional growth and development opportunities. + Engagement with a diverse team of experts in the field. + Contribution to impactful projects that address human health challenges.
