Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in MEP facility design, accompanied by at least 3 years of experience in managing budgets and deliverables. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, with knowledge of Revit being a plus. This role involves meeting with clients to kickoff projects, managing project schedules and budgets, designing and confirming the accuracy of designs, and contributing to design when necessary to meet deadlines. Candidates should possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills, along with condition assessment experience. Project types include government facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and office buildings, serving clients such as the VA, Army Corps of Engineers, and the USDA.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Meet with clients to initiate and plan projects.
• Design and propose design solutions, ensuring their accuracy.
• Contribute to designs to meet deadlines.
• Conduct condition assessments as required.
• Collaborate on projects involving government facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and office buildings.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience in MEP facility design for 10-15 years.
• At least 3 years of management experience ensuring projects are on time and under budget.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Revit is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
• US Citizenship is required due to client contracts.
• Willingness to submit to federal drug checks.

Work Environment

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office located in Severna Park, MD, and 3 days remote work after the first week in office for IT setup. The position involves 10% travel, including day trips within the DMV area and occasional travel outside the DMV for a day. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $71.00/hr.
