KeenLogic is seeking to hire a Task Order Project Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This role manages a large, complex task order focused on sustaining, securing, and modernizing critical business systems hosted in AWS GovCloud at IL4 and IL5. Responsibilities include project management, cloud architecture oversight, schedule management, risk management, reporting, cost optimization, and coordination with DLA stakeholders. This is a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of related experience
- 5+ years relevant experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
- Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Certified Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
Job Duties:
- Serve as the project manager for a large, complex task order to sustain, secure, and update critical business systems hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Government Cloud (GovCloud). These systems span across data impact levels (IL) 4 and 5, based on common hosting environment for enterprise level functional capabilities in multiple functional areas such as procurement, logistics, finance, etc.
- Assist the Program Manager (PM) in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) representatives.
- Help the PM develop a project management plan (PMP) to accomplish project requirements to include, but not limited to, the design, development, and deployment phases of cloud-based services and applications.
- Under the guidance of the Program Manager, manage the task order and ensure the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. This includes developing and maintaining integrated master schedules (IMS) to manage task order activities and milestones.
- Help the PM ensure deliverables, training, reporting, and tasks are completed timely and accurately.
- Coordinate invoicing and reporting with the COR to ensure reports are reviewed and approved prior to invoicing.
- Collect data and report to the PM monthly the following, at a minimum:
- Review of work accomplished and/or significant events during the current month
- Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) artifacts progress
- Problem areas
- Anticipated activity for the next month, to include Patching schedule and other key calendar related events
- Description of any travel or unique services provided and presentation of trip reports if travel occurred.
- Funds/labor expended and remaining
- Cloud service and applications performance metrics, to include trending over time (12 month) for key performance indicators
- Continuous and repeated review of cloud service/infrastructure configuration(s), and recommendations towards maximizing cost avoidance/savings. Executed in a disciplined methodology transparent to the DLA customer and other Government stakeholders.
