Compensation: Competitive A Snapshot of Your Day We're looking for a Senior Substation Design Project Engineer to join our Energy Grid Solutions team. You'll be a key player in delivering detailed engineering for EPC substation projects, data centers, and electrification initiatives. Our team includes specialists in primary, secondary, and civil engineering, collaborating through all phases of complex, high-impact projects. What You'll Do Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams for substation EPC projects, including physical, protection, and civil engineering scope. Ensure deliverables meet contractual schedule, scope, and technical requirements. Act as the primary technical point of contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Review customer RFPs and identify any technical clarifications, exceptions, or deviations. Develop Scope of Work (SOW), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and high-level engineering execution plans. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders-clients, engineering contractors, suppliers, and site contractors. Monitor and report on engineering progress; help identify risks and propose corrective actions. Support procurement through technical due diligence of supplier quotes. Participate in site visits during both the proposal and execution phases. What You Bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience in substation design and engineering (additional experience may qualify for more senior levels). Professional Engineer (PE) license - required. Experience with engineering design for utility power projects. Proficiency with AutoCAD. Familiarity with ANSI and IEC standards.
