Project Manager

Actalent is hiring a PROJECT MANAGER for a Space client located in the West Island of Montreal, QC.

Description:

Ensure correct staffing levels and match competencies to project needs.

Organize resources to manage the program, negotiating with line managers and other programs as needed.

Negotiate and agree with customers on key requirements, objectives, funding, resources, and methods.

Prepare detailed schedules, track progress, and develop work-around plans to meet cost and schedule objectives.

Identify and manage program risks and opportunities.

Maintain hands-on control through regular reviews, audits, and meetings.

Provide technical and administrative guidance to the program team.

Maintain visibility with customers through regular meetings.

Keep management informed through monthly reviews and briefings.

Develop a network of capable subcontractors and suppliers

Program Management experience as managing a program/project from client SOW/requirements, through planning/engineering execution, to manufacturing, to client delivery within cost and schedule.

Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

5 years of experience in program/project management or project engineering.

Experience with negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, financials, and US ITAR regulations.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr.
