  • Business Development is a conduit to the firms investment teams and supports our clients and internal business partners through investment-platform and product content, messaging, competitive analysis and education.

  • Product Strategy & Development designs, develops and manages the firms global lineup of investment services and considers clients evolving needs to identify new opportunities.

  • Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events.

  • Business Transformation looks to evolve and scale our business, leveraging digital and data, to drive top-line growth and improve profitability.

What Youll Do:

The Operational Marketing Team is looking for an organized team player to draft, edit and project manage the production of a wide range of financial literature. This team is responsible for the creation of high-volume, time-sensitive marketing material including commentary for equity, fixed-income and alternative funds and their respective teams. At full capacity, this person should expect to be managing 35-45 commentaries each reporting cycle. These products serve as marketing collateral and/or marketing promotion for financial advisors, product management teams and global clients. This role includes interacting with Marketing (US and global divisions), Legal/Compliance, Proofreading, Global Analytics, and product/portfolio managers. The ideal candidate is:

  • Passionate about their work and able to communicate suggestions in a thoughtful and considerate way, all while being able to follow directions from supervisors and the internal stakeholders

  • Skilled at recognizing related pieces of information across similar and different products to ensure adherence to brand and messaging guidelines

  • Adept at synthesizing data to support the story/conclusion

  • Collaborative and able to adjust communication styles while working with diverse types of peoples, personalities and teams

  • Consideration for global organization and respect for working across multiple regions, time zones, and cultures

  • Willingness to support team function of completing commentary production at scale

  • Able to demonstrate agility, flexibility and innovation when faced with complexity and/or adversity.

  • Organizational skill and prioritization of business needs based on the market

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drafting, editing and project managing the production of multiple fund performance commentaries at any one time

  • Communicating with management on and implementing evolving commentary guidelines and regulations

  • Running and interpreting fund performance reports with discernment in order to arrive at a compelling conclusion

  • Building and maintaining internal relationships with product/portfolio managers, Legal/Compliance and Proofreading teams

  • Establishing and organizing personal workflow documentation

  • Working within multiple internal databases and reporting systems to customize commentaries for distributing to clients

  • Maintaining monthly data organization

  • Collaborating within the team on process optimization and problem solving related to commentary production

What Were Looking For:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Familiarity with the finance industry

  • Strong communication skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word [editing in Track Changes and and using the Comment tools] and Excel) & Adobe Acrobat

  • Ability to analyze data with impeccable attention to detail

  • Adaptability in learning various public and proprietary softwares for daily responsibilities

  • Exceptional organization, project-management and time-management skills

  • Tenacity to self-manage against strict deadlines and work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Consistent availability to work during defined peak production periods

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree (Economics/Finance, Project or Business Management, and/or English preferred)

  • Excellent technical writing skills

  • Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing technological solutionsincluding RPA or machine learningto drive greater efficiency and accuracy in project management.

  • Marketing operations or production environment experience within finance or similar regulated industries such as health care and insurance

  • A proactive approach to researching and adopting new technologies that can streamline communication, data management, and overall process performance in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn cutting-edge digital project management tools that integrate AI capabilities for improved workflow tracking and process monitoring such as SharePoint, Seismic and Workfront.
