The Waukesha Municipal Group is seeking to hire a full-time civil or municipal engineer. Youll be working with a growing group on a diverse variety of projects. As a new employee, you wont just work anonymously on a conveyor belt of projects. Instead, youll interact and forge long-term relationships with clients so you can work towards creating solutions that solve their problems at a whole new level. On any given day, youll:

+ Work with both private and public clients for various site development and municipal projects

+ Design municipal and civil engineering projects including water supply and distribution, sanitary sewers, water main, storm water systems, streets, and other public and private development projects.

+ Gather and analyze data on projects and prepare reports, plans and specifications and cost estimates.

+ Coordinate and oversee construction activities on various types of projects.

+ Expand our client base and cross sell services.

Required Qualifications:

+ A bachelors degree in civil engineering with a municipal or transportation emphasis.

+ Has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

+ A minimum of 5-10 years of related engineering experience.

+ A valid drivers license with a good driving record.

Desired skills and experiences:

+ Masters degree in civil engineering is a plus.

+ Professional Engineer in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within one year.

+ Experience in the following areas is beneficial: municipal design, Civil 3D, InRoads, MicroStation, GIS, modeling (water, sewer and stormwater), and construction observation/administration.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
