Our client, is a global public corporation specializing in technologies and services across the entire energy value chain from generation to transmission is seeking a Electrical Engineer Lv 2 to join their team.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Lv 2

Location: Orlando, FL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for the execution of electrical engineering within projects, ensuring fulfillment of customer contracts and specifications.

  • Lead the electrical execution team in close cooperation with the Project Engineering Manager, Project Management, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage and monitor internal and external suppliers, including handling interfaces for electrical, I&C, and layout-related elements.

  • Provide regular project reporting covering engineering progress, technical clarifications, and risks/opportunities.

  • Drive the electrical design process, including the development of concepts, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs).

  • Proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, and claims.

  • Monitor on-time delivery of deliverables, quality standards, engineering labor hour usage, and ensure compliance with EHS standards.

  • Support the construction site during installation and commissioning by resolving technical issues as they arise.

  • Contribute to identifying and minimizing non-conformance costs (NCCs).

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in managing electrical engineering for large-scale projects such as Power Plants, Data Centers, HVDC, or Substations.

  • Strong technical knowledge in:

  • Electrical Power Systems

  • Motor Control Centers (MCCs)

  • Medium and Low Voltage (MV/LV) Switchgears

  • Transformers, Converters, and Rectifiers

  • Single Line and Three Line Diagrams

  • Experience in project management and/or managing intercultural teams.

  • Proven background in executing solution projects (both proposal and execution phases).

  • Knowledge of HVDC transmission is a plus.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more U.S. states is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

  • Strong intercultural collaboration experience with international clients, partners, and suppliers.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach.
