What You'll Do:
- Establish project design approach for specific discipline at project start up.
- Lead client management; attend client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
- Presents design to client and coordinates with other disciplines and consultants.
- May be involved in project/client pursuits.
- Manage project specific scope, budget and schedule. Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
- Manages teams and assists other project team members in the development and maintenance of workplans.
- Participates in project debriefs and lessons learned sessions.
- Leads in planning, design and documentation of projects. Prepares working drawings and stamps drawings. Oversee development of fully coordinated quality design documents.
- Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.
- Recommend and implement alterations to design to improve quality.
- Mentor other Designers and Engineers. Provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop designers and engineers.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or Professional degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
- Experience: 8+ years of applicable experience. Experience within healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred.
- Software Skills: Revit, SKM Power Tools - Electrical System Analysis, Various lighting design software.
- Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
