- Assist in the design and documentation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and other MEP disciplines to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify compliance with design intent.
- Support project managers in coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 02 years of relevant experience (internships or co-op experience in MEP design is a plus).
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), ASHRAE, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other BIM software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus but not required.
