Mechanical Engineer Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience with real engineering projects, giving you the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to the design, development, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems and products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks)
• Conduct engineering analysis such as stress, thermal, and tolerance studies
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings
• Help identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong foundation in mechanical design, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of FEA, CFD, or other simulation tools is a plus
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or project experience in mechanical design or product development
  • Experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printing)
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation and standards
