Process Engineer

Job Description:
Process Engineer (Job Code F025) City of Industry, CA.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Conduct process-monitoring activities and perform machinery capability studies. Create, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Instructions (JIs) as required. Train operators, leads, supervisors and other personnel on new equipment, JIs, and SOPs. Conduct and lead production troubleshooting, identifying, and implementing viable solutions. Identify and deliver advancements in continuous product/process improvements. Continuously explore, identify, and develop innovative proprietary solutions and cost saving. Lead or assist in CAP A or DOE activities. Review formulations, MBR, Batch records, protocols, change controls and other process instructions to confirm capability and capacity. Generate Process Qualifications Protocols (PQs) and perform Process Qualifications. Work closely with R&D and Engineering teams on equipment selection process. Perform Installation Qualifications (IQ) and Operational Qualifications (OQ) activities. Maintain accurate records of all projects and assignments. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Maintain a safe work environment and operate in a safe manner.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering Technology or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience must include two (2) years with each of the following:

1.Working with all aspects of product scale-up and commercialization activities.
2.Supporting operations by identifying and implementing process improvements.
3.Manufacturing, regulatory, supply chain and business implications of formulation decisions.
4.Working with Mass production, manufacturing, and packaging.
5.Formula adjustment, process controlling, modification of equipment, and process management.
6.Supporting improvement of mass production processes and reduction of operation costs.
7.Transferring new product technologies, installing the product line, and upgrading the packaging of the product line.
8.Company safety requirements, including GMP, SOPs, and OSHA regulations, applicable to the job.
