Position Specific Description
The Associate Project Manager will support more experienced developers in transmission development opportunities primarily in the Eastern U.S.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute on project development plans under the direction of more experienced project developers including, but not limited to, action item lists, schedules, and management presentations
Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities under tight deadlines
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supports all aspects of the day-to-day development process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost-effective and competitive result
Coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Travel on an as-needed basis (0-15%)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; preferably in finance, business or engineering
Experience: 0+ years
Job Overview This job plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation to completion. Employees in this job provide technical direction on projects to the department or project team members.Job Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates and completes projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
Maintains thorough knowledge of new developments and technology pertaining to the projects
Monitors and recommends changes for improvement
