**Job Summary**
The Project Manager 2 works for the BSW Health Plan Project Management Office (PMO) and organizes and leads teams for moderate to large projects. They ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and goals. This includes managing the project scope, timeline, budget, and resources. They also provide leadership and guidance to team members.
**Salary**
"The pay range for this position is $67,849.60 (entry-level qualifications) - $114,192 (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidates specific qualifications and prior experience.
**Essential Functions of the Role**
+ Develops project plans to ensure feasibility of project with proper resourcing and effective change management.
+ Establishes project deliverables and timeframes and holds project team accountable for completion, keeping in mind both short-term and long-term goals.
+ Establishes clear project charter, team roles, responsibilities and accountabilities to ensure success of project.
+ Prepares and presents project scope document and achieves agreement on project parameters and goals.
+ Receives approvals at each phase of project.
+ Manages feasibility studies, business planning, and benefit assessments. Ensures cost, benefit, and risk elements are identified and considered.
+ Identify staffing, equipment, and financial resources needed to complete the project on time, within budget, and according to goals.
+ Interfaces with other departments to obtain needed resources to complete projects within expectations and timeframes.
+ Manages moderate to large scale and complex projects to ensure quality and timely achievement of project deliverables and goals.
+ Prepares and maintains project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports.
+ Communicates task assignments and due dates in a clear, professional and timely manner.
+ Anticipates potential issues and mitigates them by managing the work plan effectively. This ensures meeting committed time frames and project milestones.
+ Monitors project status and resolves risks, issues, and action items. Provides recommendations to leadership for support when needed.
+ Provides periodic status reports and resolves project problems and issues in a timely manner.
+ Facilitates team meetings to discuss project progress (daily stand-ups if using Agile methodology).
+ Serves as a contact to senior management and key stakeholders to report project progress and to assist with problem resolution.
+ Supervises the day-to-day activities of team members in an effective, timely, and professional manner.
+ Prepares schedules, makes job assignments, monitors personnel, and maintains personnel and patient records according to policies and procedures.
+ Manages vendors and consultant partners ensuring contract compliance and expected performance.
+ Serves as liaison between end users and project team members as required.
+ Maintains business operations and applications knowledge level to provide required information as needed.
**Key Success Factors**
+ Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred
+ Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies
+ Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet, Planview, Azure Dev Ops, etc.
+ Project Management Certification a plus
+ Demonstrated experience in Project Management
+ Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
+ Proven working experience as a project manager
+ Aptitude for quickly understanding new processes and technical concepts and communicating them to a different audience.
+ Ability to effectively examine data and concisely present findings
+ Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated through experience developing cross-functional relationships
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the project team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
+ Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and collaboration tools
