Job Description The R&D Electrical Engineering Technician II will contribute to the design and development of innovative electronic products to treat peripheral and heart valve diseases. This role involves supporting multiple cross-functional development teams that manage projects from concept through commercialization. The primary focus will be on electronic circuit prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting, as well as building and maintaining lab tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electronic products for medical purposes.
- Support cross-functional teams throughout project phases from concept to commercialization.
- Perform electronic circuit prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain laboratory tools and equipment.
- Create and evaluate test fixtures and prototype electronic hardware and systems.
- Use electrical tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
- Read schematics for board layout and assist in component qualification.
- Ability to build test fixtures and prototype electronic hardware.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters.
- Experience in reading and interpreting schematics.
- 2+ years of relevant experience as a technician in electrical or electronic systems.
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology required.
- Certified Engineering Technician (CET) accreditation is a plus.
- Testing experience is preferred; training is available if needed.
