Senior Project Manager - Utility-Scale Solar & Energy Storage Locations: Miami, FL | Denver, CO | Dallas, TX Employment Type: Full-Time | Travel: 30-40% Job Summary: A leading renewable energy firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven experience in utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS) . This role will lead high-impact projects from development through commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, budget, and regulatory standards across multi-million-dollar renewable energy initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full project lifecycle for utility-scale solar and BESS projects Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities, and permitting agencies Manage procurement, interconnection, and construction activities Maintain project budgets, schedules, and documentation Ensure regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and environmental standards Conduct regular performance reviews and stakeholder reporting Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred) PMP certification or equivalent preferred 7+ years of project management experience , including 5+ years managing utility-scale solar and storage projects In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage technologies, and utility interconnection processes Familiarity with permitting, regulatory compliance, and large-scale infrastructure development Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, CMiC) Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Willingness to travel 30-40% to project sites, suppliers, and client meetings
