As a Contract Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of that transformation-guiding the electrical design, documentation, testing, and compliance efforts that bring our Class II/III medical devices to life.
This is more than a contract-it's a chance to lead complex design efforts in a high-growth, high-impact environment. You'll collaborate with top-tier Embedded, Mechanical, and Systems Engineers to solve real-world engineering challenges and shape the future of minimally invasive surgery.
What You'll Do
Own the development and maintenance of electrical design documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test protocols in alignment with IEC 60601/80601-2-77 and FDA/ISO regulatory standards.
Lead electrical verification and validation activities, ensuring robust test planning, execution, and performance testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical design issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
Specify and design electrical hardware for next-gen robotic systems-supporting both processing and sensing functions.
Collaborate with Embedded and QA teams to support regulatory submissions and system compliance.
Drive component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
Develop production testers and board-level diagnostics tools.
Apply knowledge in EMI/EMC/ESD shielding, flex circuit design, power electronics, and BLDC motor control.
