Process Engineer

Our client, a well-established privately held petrochemical company, is seeking a Process Engineer to support refinery operations by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting assistance, and driving process improvements. This role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of assigned processing units and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Support: Monitor daily operations, identify and resolve issues, assist with startups/shutdowns, optimize processes, and support compliance with safety and maintenance protocols.
Process Improvement: Propose, design, and implement improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and profitability; lead change management and assist in commissioning new solutions.
Technical Liaison: Act as the subject matter expert for assigned units, collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Safety, Environmental, HR), and support regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide technical guidance across departments and participate in training and development activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
3-6 years of experience in refining, chemical, or a related industry.
