Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Production Operations team in King of Prussia, PA !
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Mechanical, bonding, and electrical fabrication of flight and ground support hardware.
Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly.
Perform a variety of hands-on mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies
Work as a member of a team communicating technical issues to Manufacturing / Quality Engineers while supporting corrective actions.
Evaluate new processes, products, and identify problems
Willing to work shift work and extended shifts, overtime if required to support schedule.
Ability to be trained to perform all duties in accordance with Lockheed Martin training requirements, such as hand soldering, bonding, harness fabrication, module assembly and black box level assembly. Mechanical dexterity.
Electrical trouble shooting experience.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists, and/or other information/documentation.
Ability to assemble detailed parts/components into an end product following work instruction.
Ability to pass JSTD-001 certification, SSC JSTD001MAP Solder OPER Certification, SSC NASA Polymerics Operator Certification and SSC NASA Cable/Harness, Operator Certification.
Ability to work varying shifts and weekend work as needed.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Proficient in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting, bonding, polymerics and cable fabrication.
JSTD-001 certification.
Proficient with hand tool precision machining, drilling, fixture usage and bonding.
Proficiencies with mechanical type fabrication
of avionics boxes, ground support rack
fabrication, CCA fabrication.
Solid computer skills, competent with MS
Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
Preferred candidate should be proficient with
VE-CAMS and SAP.
2 years experience in the industry.
