CNC Engineer

Position Summary We’re hiring a CNC Engineer with 3+ years of experience in CNC programming and machine setup. This role supports precision machining of complex parts across materials like stainless, aluminum, titanium, and superalloys—from proto@type to production. A background in mechanical design and a degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.

  • Set up and run multi-axis CNC mills and lathes to tight tolerances (±0.0003").

  • Design and refine workholding solutions and fixtures.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve workflows.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including programming and setups.

  • Proficient with CAM software and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar).

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • Experience with automated machining environments and in-process inspection tools.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality documentation.
