As a Sensor Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of our System EE Team for the next generation Smart Glasses; driving the sensor electrical design and development, working on leading edge technologies, and collaborating with the cross-functional teams to deliver on our HW platforms. You will be part of a tight-knit group of highly skilled engineers at the forefront of the innovation for Meta HW products (MR/VR, etc.).Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 4+ years work experience in Electrical Engineering 4+ years of experience in consumer electronics or related fields 4+ years of experience in embedded or mobile system design, sensing technologies and architecture, circuit design, board bring-up and product NPI experience Experience leading technical teams, cross-functional groups and vendors Experience with hands-on hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification Demonstrated experience to bring new technologies to product Demonstrated experience to integrate sensing technologies such as optical sensors, capacitive touch sensors or motion sensors in a product Experience performing bench level power measurements coupled with analytical experience Knowledge of the relationship between physical layout and electrical performance Experience communicating novel concepts to broad audience succinctly and in simple terms Experience in modeling, developing test scripts and firmware Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools including JMP, Python, LabView, MATLAB and other scripting languages
