Aerospace Electrical Engineering Technician $24 to $30 an hour**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an Electronics Technician Level III to join our team. This position involves FAA Safety Sensitive responsibilities and offers a day shift. You will primarily engage in bench work, focusing on the repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft electrical components and subcomponents.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair, overhaul, and test aircraft electrical components and subcomponents as required by work orders.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, assemble, repair, and test electronic assemblies and subassemblies including circuit cards and electrical controls to the component level.
+ Exercise independent judgment in performing tasks such as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
+ Use complex test instruments like digital oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and high-frequency pulse generators.
+ Disassemble, prepare, and inspect components, subassemblies, and final assemblies for various aerospace and avionics systems.
+ Verify final system completeness and operation for final inspection and shipping.
+ Utilize test equipment to locate and identify malfunctions.
+ Employ a wide variety of hand and power tools such as soldering irons, desoldering stations, crimpers, and extraction tools.
+ Support the Quality System by following procedures, work order instructions, and documenting records to meet AS-9100, AS-9110 regulations.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of component-level troubleshooting and repair
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics
+ Experience with circuit board test equipment
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associates Degree in an electronic-related field is preferred
