Seeking individual with strong Project Engineering background and knowledge of medium and large size industrial automation projects for operations such as: plastic molding; automated electronics compact assembly; food, drug and cosmetic packaging, etc.
Activities:
*** Define project scope, deliverables, key milestones and ensure project follows timelines.
*** Analyze project budgets, verify adherence to budgetary restrictions and make recommendations to team members in order to follow constraints and project requirements.
*** Serve as the key interface for sales representatives, staff engineers, and subordinate technicians.
*** Oversee controls hardware design and software integration.
Requirements:
*** Solid knowledge of articulated robots; machine vision; multi-axis motion; servos, drives and motors; and current programmable machine system controls design and best practices.
*** 5+ years in a similar role with engineering leadership experience.
*** Engineering degree.
*** Ability to develop budgets and manage personnel during design, prototyping, fabrication and commisioning activities..
