Collaborate with the New Product Development team to integrate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles into product designs. Provide feedback on new product concepts to ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities and cost objectives. Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet project goals. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the timely delivery of materials and components. Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD) to implement manufacturing process plans, including the design and implementation of tooling and automation solutions. Conduct and participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential production risks and implement corrective actions. Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Work with quality and production teams to address and resolve production issues. Collaborate with the Operations team to Integrate and program PLCs for the automation of manufacturing processes. Work with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing process improvements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), process specifications and documentation. Ensure manufacturing processes and products comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
