Summary**
The GE Aerospace Engineering team is looking for mechanical design engineers who are ready to work on the fastest growing engine in Aviation history, LEAP. The LEAP engine is a culmination of cutting-edge technology, world-class reliability and unparalleled performance, and is the engine of choice to power the Airbus A320neo, the Boeing 737 MAX, and the COMAC C919.
LEAP's 15% reduction in fuel burn (over prior generation of narrowbody applications) is moving the needle on sustainability today and proving out the next generation of sustainable technologies like ceramic composites, advanced turbine cooling, and additive manufacturing.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be part of the LEAP Engineering Design Team in Cincinnati, OH, focused on the LEAP Turbine Center Frame components. They will build technical expertise by working turbomachinery design and product improvement activities that ultimately power our customers, lift people up and bring them home safely.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to design and support engine components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and LEAP product / program requirements.
+ Document and prepare technical data and results that are consistent with engineering policies and procedures for technical program reviews and internal and external customers.
+ Provide timely communications to team members on significant issues or developments and promote open dialogue.
+ Work on teams to lift up and support organizational initiatives.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
