**Electrical Engineer Generation Senior Level**

**Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:**

POWER Engineers, member of WSP is seeking a Senior Generation Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS; and Oradell, NJ offices.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Lead electrical engineer on design of power generation projects

+ Lead electrical engineer on design of renewable energy projects

+ Lead electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades

+ Lead electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgrades

+ Mentor and teach junior and mid engineers

+ Project proposal and budget development

**Required Education/Experience**

+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

+ Electrical PE License

+ 15 - 30 years of experience leading a team of engineers and designers in power generation projects

+ 15+ years of detailed design engineering experience in power generation projects, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc.

+ 10+ years of relay coordination and schematic design

+ CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience

**Desired Education/Experience**

+ Master of Science or MBA

+ Onsite construction support experience
