Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The role involves designing, maintaining, implementing, and improving electrical components, equipment, products, or systems for specific applications. The engineer will perform a wide range of engineering tasks using computer-assisted tools to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. This includes preparing electrical system specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps. The engineer will also help establish and implement standards and specifications, maintain electrical equipment, and collaborate with a variety of technicians daily.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical components, equipment, products, or systems.
- Perform engineering tasks using computer-assisted tools.
- Ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare electrical system specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
- Help establish and implement standards and specifications.
- Maintain electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with technicians on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in AC, DC, PCB Design and Maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical power applications (low power).
- Proficiency in CAD or related software.
- Exposure to electrical engineering design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in design, repair, and analysis of electronic systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Altium or other schematic capture tools.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in an office environment, focusing on high mix, low speed products. The work involves a 50/50 mix of new product development and sustaining activities. The position offers a great work environment with schedule flexibility within the robotics industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $64.90/hr.
