Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) with strong technical expertise in hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and site civil design to join our Orlando, FL team. This position is ideal for a licensed engineer who thrives in hands-on design, analysis, and modeling across water infrastructure systems. You will play a key role in developing innovative solutions for municipal clients, contributing to projects that span pressure pipe networks, floodplain analysis, and sustainable stormwater systems.

Your Role:
Perform hydraulic modeling of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including pressure pipe networks
Develop and analyze stormwater management systems using ICPR, PCSWMM, InfoWater, and other tools
Prepare FEMA floodplain analyses and compliance documentation
Lead and contribute to site civil design efforts including grading, drainage, stormwater facilities, and utility layout
Prepare engineering reports, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated water infrastructure designs
Support environmental permitting and coordinate with local/state regulatory agencies
Provide QA/QC on design deliverables and mentor junior engineering staff
Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Masters preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required
Minimum of 6 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater design and modeling
Proficient in modeling software such as InfoWater, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, PCSWMM, ICPR, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS
Familiarity with FEMA floodplain analysis, permitting, and regulatory requirements
Strong technical writing skills and ability to develop high-quality design documentation
Excellent collaboration skills and client communication abilities
Valid U.S. drivers license with acceptable driving record
