Water Resources Engineer - Southeast Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-01167
Salary Range: $80K - $110K+ Permanent Position with Benefits.
Southeast Cleveland, Ohio company is seeking to hire an experienced professional Water Resource Engineer to design and manage water and waste water projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering ( BSCE, B.C.E., B.S.E.Civ, B.S.E.CivE or B.S. Env. E. or B. Env. Eng.)
Ohio Professional Engineering License, (Engineer Intern / EI Certification or other states' P.E. may be considered with applicable experience)
4+ (ideally 6 to 12) years' work experience in Water Resources Engineering analyzing and designing clean and black water / waste water pump stations, grading, sewer & storm water systems
Past experience as a water system designer and project leader
Occasion local travel (not overnight) to visit field sights
Familiar with EPA permit review process, funding and grant writing preferred
Exceptional verbal and written technical writing skills
Preferred experience with HEC-RAS (Hydrologic Engineering Center's River Analysis System) software program used for hydraulic modeling of rivers and channels analysis of water flow, determining water surface profiles, and simulating the effects of various structures and obstructions within a river systems, flood & levee studies, water quality modeling, channel modification, and sediment transport modeling
Preferred experience with HydraFlow SWMM (storm water management model) software that leverages the EPA's Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) for simulating storm water and wastewater systems as a dynamic hydrology-hydraulic routing and water quality simulation model used for both single-event and long-term continuous simulations of runoff quantity and quality in urban areas
Work with senior level and mentor junior level engineers to
Write technical memos and reports and creates presentations of findings
