This position reports to
Director of Engineering, South Office
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will will provide technical recommendations throughout various stages of customer projects, ensuring successful delivery of project outcomes on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities may include Protection & Control, Electrical studies, Building integration, and Power management systems.
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, development, testing, installation, and coordination of electrical and electronic components and systems. Working under the guidance of a supervisor or senior engineer, you will apply standard engineering principles to carry out engineering tasks, utilizing your judgment and expertise. You will also contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing group effectiveness and driving customer satisfaction.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Electrical design and integration of systems into E-Houses and control buildings housing switchgear, automation or telecom equipment. Cable ducts, lighting panels, circuit breaker panels, FACP integration, HVAC integration and more.
*Relay integration and programming for protection and various control schemes
*Plan, support and/or coordinate major project requirements and specifications. Determine most effective means of accomplishing objectives, develop schedules for technical deliverables, conduct and coordinate related activities. Ensure that overall efforts are in concert with customer and Company requirements.
*Develop detailed engineering documentation including: Single Line Diagrams, Power System Studies (Arc Flash, Load Flow, Short Circuit, etc.), Network Diagrams, Protective Device Settings, and Substation Layouts.

Qualifications for the role
2 to 5 years of experience in engineering, working as an Electrical Engineer
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all
relevant workplace safety guidelines
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new
technologies
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and
spoken communication skills
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA
