Project Coordinator II

Advanced-level engineering work in the coordination of Palm Beach County (PBC) water, wastewater, reclaimed water pipeline, lift station, and special assessment projects. Prepares/reviews engineering Minimum Design Standards, design plans, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, and the permitting and bidding of projects. Prepares packages for preconstruction meetings with contractors; reviews final close-out documents; assists in the construction inspection and contract administration. Performs hydraulic modeling for in-house pipeline capacity analysis. Receives assignments in specific or general terms from an engineering superior and is expected to exercise independent judgement and initiative in developing work methods. Work involves the application of engineering principles and techniques to implement engineering projects of water utilities.
