This job will have the following responsibilities:

Define and develop hardware architectures based on system requirements in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Design and integrate digital systems, including embedded processors, analog and power circuitry, memory modules (e.g., DDR), and high-speed I/O.

Lead technical execution for electronic subsystems-from concept to production-including schematic capture, prototyping, and validation.

Conduct in-depth simulations and performance evaluations; recommend design improvements based on results.

Solve complex engineering challenges with minimal direction, adapting to evolving requirements and constraints.

Develop technical documentation for manufacturing and support teams.

Identify risk areas and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and growth.

Communicate project status, technical insights, and trade-offs to leadership and cross-discipline partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.

5-7 years of hands-on experience designing embedded digital systems.

Proficiency in digital circuit design, embedded architectures, and simulation tools such as HyperLynx or ANSYS.

Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout (Mentor Graphics preferred).

Demonstrated ability to analyze trade spaces for system reliability, especially in radiation-hardened environments.

Strong understanding of FPGA/SoC toolchains (Xilinx, Microchip, or similar).

Deep knowledge of engineering practices for harsh environments (e.g., RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-810).
